To remove the computer cover in the small form-factor chassis, perform the following steps:
- Turn off your computer and peripherals, and observe the caution for your personal safety and protection of the equipment described in "Precautionary Measures."
- Press in to retract the padlock ring into the cover to open
- Press in on the two securing buttons until the cover is free to swing up
- Raise the back of the cover, and pivot it toward the front of the computer.
- Lift the cover off the hooks at the front of the chassis.
- Disengage the tabs that secure the cover to the top of the chassis, and lift the cover out of the way.
